After reading loads of reviews on many different blankets at many different sites, I narrowed my purchase down to (3) king-size blankets. This alpaca blanket, a merino wool blanket, and a wool blanket. They each arrived within a couple of days. This blanket was hands down the softest, had the best texture, and the whipstitched edge was an added aesthetic bonus. The other (2) blankets have been returned while this beautifully sized blanket is atop our bed. It’s warm but not too warm and although my husband feared it would be too hot as he usually kicks the blankets off, he too has fallen in love with this blanket. Would highly recommend. I have already prompted several friends/family to place their own orders.

Another wonderful product from Alpaca4Less. This is a quality blanket with good stitching. I got the King size and it covers the bed + about 1 foot extra on the sides and at the foot. It is a mixture of very soft alpaca and medium-soft wool. Nice even and accurate color. It is tough, warm, but not as hot as a down comforter. Probably wouldn't want to use it in the summertime. My only wish is that Alpaca4Less made an all-alpaca blanket (no wool or cotton) that was HEAVY (9 pound for king, 7 pound queen, etc) and in more common colors (not bright orange, etc).

Absolutely no regrets here. This blanket is huge and warm beyond belief.
